Besides being a treasure trove of traditional Friulian and Trieste cuisine, Alla Tappa is also an established pizzeria, with over fifty pizzas on its menu. We are among the pizzerias in the Trieste province that still prepare pizza with a wood-fired oven, and have not one, but two ovens available. Wood cooking, according to tradition, is the ideal method for cooking pizzas, as it allows to reach high temperatures and distribute heat evenly, so that the dough is crispy and the pizza is cooked on all sides.
The commitment and passion we use in our pizzeria even earned us the recognition of the Monthly Class, defining us as one of the best 25 pizzerias in Italy.

The pizza oven at Pizzeria Alla Tappa adapts to everyone's tastes. In our pizzeria menu, you will find traditional pizzas, such as the Neapolitan, the Marguerita or the Four Seasons, but also special pizzas, dedicated to all those who want to try combinations with refined and particular ingredients.

In this case you can try a Treviso, Montanara, Romanza or pizza with olive paste.

The Pizzeria Trattoria Alla Tappa offers you an embarrassment of choice: our desserts are all handmade and prepared by hand by our skilled chefs. Come and try delights like tiramisù, semifreddo al Bacio Perugina, millefeuille, truffled coffee and many other sweets.
